Thursday March 29th:

Like a scratched record we seem to be stuck in a groove of no-wind days!  Another calm morning, with only the slightest breeze to play with.  The wetsuit, harness, lifejacket, and hat are all getting nice and dry for the trip home, but I’d rather have a last day or rides!!  Ah, well, life is still good, and I can get some more work done today!

I spent the day doing technology, paying bills, and managing a fair share of beers!  Some beach action as well, but only shortly, as the wind had again left us.

Vela had ‘hot-dog day’ and the crew and clients ate their fill of the franks and full set of fixin’s!!  A good day for the dogs, as we enjoyed the tropical heat, and lazed away the day on the beach and in the office.  I had a nice afternoon settling the bills and saying my goodbyes for another year.  Six weeks seemed so long, and now it’s over!!  Still, looking forward to my home and my dogs!

The day was soon complete, and we enjoyed our last happy hour of this trip.  Another fun evening with great friends!  We ended up at Da Rocco for pizza and pasta, and ate our fill, (I’m so stuffed!!)  The night was soon over, and the option for dancing seemed a bit much, as we want to pack and be ready for the morning of relaxation just before we depart, so it was off to the amazing apartment for a last night of luxury.

Uber thanks to all for another great vacation here in El Yaque, I would not have the same fun without the many friends I have met and continue to meet here!!  Thanks to all for the positive energy, and if you like the photos and postings be sure to thank the sponsors Vela and the El Yaque Club!!

Goodnight.

Hasta Mañana,
