Monday March 26th:
Rain overnight continued into the morning, washing the dust off the town, and dampening the wind. Looks like a good day to work! I called Tom and made plans to do some workstation setup, and general computer play, to take advantage of the light wind conditions and overcast sky.
After some quick fruit at my place I visited Tom and Kathy, and we worked on computers for most of the day. So kind of Kathy to cook me some breakfast of eggs and a slice of ham while working on stuff, and a ham sandwich later as well! Thanks dear! Very good stuff!!
We managed to be very productive, even if the wind meter did read near zero for the entire day. We finished a majority of the work we wanted, Connie and Mary managed a walk beachside and thru town, while others took out the kayaks, did the tours of the mangroves, and some took the tour to the park laguistina, while others did some work or reading to pass the time without our dear friend the wind. Happy hour starts early on a day like today!
So with no wind, and not much else to do, I failed to get any photos again today. L We did manage successful drinking to take up the slack! After happy hour it was off to Atti restaurant for some steaks!
The meal was again just amazing, and we left full and carrying a take-out portion. Without the exercise of the usual windsurfing for the day, I was filled easily, and had to stop earlier than normal. We socialized for the evening, and soon drifted off to the Club and some more sleep.
The night sky is clearer, and the rain has gone away, looks better for something more tomorrow. Till then..
