Tuesday March 20th:
Another day like the previous day, am I in the movie ‘Ground Hog Day’? Not a bad life living the same day in paradise day after day! Sure it’s boring for those at home having to read the same blog report, only slightly different, but it is just fine with me living each day in paradise!
After Connie and I made breakfast
of bacon and eggs, it was off to the beach and another day of activity. The typical meet and greet on the street, and
on to the
The wind was lighter in the morning, so I did a slow amble about the beach chairs, visiting and chillin with the many friends lying out on the sands. So nice to be disconnected from the everyday world news and TV of home! Nothing to worry about but wind and fun!
The wind picked up, and I saw the water filled with subjects, so I suited up and got out to capture some of the fun. The tide was out today, and I was able to walk out much farther than normal, and managed some good shots in a short hour of time. Plenty of willing subjects hamming for the cam, and some tricks too. See windsurf photos here.
The photos complete it was time to ride me some of dat!! I was off on a 93lt and the 5.7M combo, I know; the exact same kit as the past few days, but I just love the jump fest with that stuff! Even managed the same board number and the settings were all intact from the previous sail session!! So nice! Connie was on the 85lt and the 5.0M for the photo session, and then went to the 78lt and the 4.5M for the tandem sailing with me. Plenty of chase and some amazingly huge air!! Love those steep ramp faces on the outside!! A brilliant session! I started a bit tired, but finished totally stoked, and came in just before close. Ahhh, feels good!
Happy hour was in full stride as I parked myself at a table of friends for some drinks and discussion. I had plans for dinner at home tonight, and a bit of work stuff, so after some fun socializing, it was off to the wonderful condo room, and the leftover pizza of the previous evening. Connie opted for Fureza six for chicken with Michele and Kevin, and they had the fast food and were home in no time. I walked down and met them on the street for part of the walk home.
There was to be some activity at Gaby’s tonight, but I got tired and fell asleep before I could make it out, sure hope you all had fun!! See ya later!
