Thursday March 1st

I wake to the birds and wind singing in unison, and get up for another day of fun in the sun.

I have a bit of a cold today, and as such, am a bit on the tired side. The wind is light in the AM like it seems sorry for me that I can’t come out to play! After some of my favorite eggs and bacon made in my apartment, I made the trip to the center to drop off a CD of the pics from the past couple days, and socialize with the friends at Vela. After an hour or so, I decide to hit the hammock back at my condo. (Sorry folks, no media from today. L )

I slept most of the afternoon away, before getting up and doing some work via email on into the evening. Plans had been made to stop over to Tom and Kathy’s place for dinner tonight, and I wrapped up the work and headed on over.

We had steak, asparagus, baked stuffed potatoes, and salad for feasting upon, and some fun computer play and videos. Plenty of fun socializing, even with my cold! Thanks T & K!! You guys take such great care of me!

The dinner was again amazing, and full and content, I made my way home for some final computer stuff before bed. Not my best day for activities, but still better to be sick in the warm climate, then back home with some two feet of snow on the ground! (Sorry MN friends!)
