Thursday March 30th

Again the breeze had blown all night, and the morning kept right up!  The winds are doing the typical schedule, and starting earlier each day!  Love the big stuff in the afternoon!

Breaking the fast, we loaded up on the spread at the table, and got ready for the day at the beach.

I stopped at the Wind Guru for some internet, sandwich, and café con leche, grande!  Perfect office for working!  Love that AC.

I finished the postings and email, and got to the Vela office for a bit more work, then off to the water and some snap action!

I again got out later than I’d like for the best light, but the folks did their best for the camera, and I managed quite a few decent shots.  See the photos here!

I did have to deal with my fish friends nibbling on my legs, as I have had happen now and then, but this time I did manage to snap a shot of one swimming around my right leg! (Check the last image on the link above.)  Not to worry, these are very small fish, and don’t really bite, more like brush against you.  Kinda tickles, but still a bit of a distraction.

The only problem with this was the waterproof case did leak a bit during the underwater shooting, and I actually had to stop shooting and come in before filling the memory.  (Against my nominal rule!)  The small amount that got in is not too serious, but I did completely fog up, and had to remove the camera, and wipe all down.  A complete flush of the case with fresh water, and some overnight dry time should take care of it.  (Looks good this Friday morning.)

The photos done I picked a 77lt board and a 5.0M sail for the late afternoon full on blast fest!  Connie was on a 77lt and a 4.2M, and making it rip!  What a great session!  I was shreading on such small stuff for a 220 lb guy, it was unbelievable!  I got to ride a few rounds with friends, out and back and just had a blast jumping and hollering back and forth!  I live to get air, and I was breathing deep this afternoon!  LOVE IT!  Great rides and jumps, and fully satisfied, I came off the water at nearly closing!
I got in late, and cleaned off and joined in the crowd at happy hour.  We fired up the laptop, and got the photos off the camera, then had a slide show/editing session at the table as we had our drinks, and shared in the memories of the day’s session in photos!  Great fun and it always draws a crowd!  So many great friends to get happy with!

We decided on Gabby’s for supper, and after a last round it was off to get ready.  We had a small contingent of sailors for a nice relaxing feast of Mexican, fish and BBQ!  Very satisfying, and we soon walked home for bed, content from another fun day of Margarita pleasure!

Hasta Friday
