Monday March 20th

Another day in paradise!  The wind looked a bit light for today, but it was off to breakfast.

I ate my fill, and shared the day’s fun with the many friends at Casa Rita.  So nice to be at home with my friends!

The wind was a bit light as I got to the beach, and the sails were again in the larger sizes to plane, so plenty of folks were also out doing the sub-plane tricks on the big boards and small sails.  I was waiting for the typical building afternoon winds to pick up, but this just didn’t happen.  I didn’t get on the water for photos or sailing, but this gave me time to do some work and the typical hacky sack session with the friends at Vela.  A very good 1.5 hr session, and I was totally soaked with sweat when we finally quit!  Thanks guys!

With the light wind today, the folks got a bit wilder at happy hour!  What a great session of chat and jokes and at one point we jokingly asked Reggie to model her 3 swimsuits she had tried on throughout the day!  (a round of laughs, and applause.)  I then threw gas on the fire with my comment that us guys would take on the task!  Too funny as Michael, Lorenzo, and I each tried on a bikini top!  We even caught some of the happy hour antics on memory!  (See the photos here.)   Another great night with friends!

The supper plans were made for Mare Mare restaurant, and we had a good 10 people at the table feasting on some mighty tasty eats!  I got full so fast; I had to take some of my chicken home!  Very good supper, and we all soon made the walk home, but since I now have a rented mountain bike from “No Wind, No Cry” bike rentals here in town, (run by some awesome folks, Nora and Al!  More details here soon!), I got to ride home!  It’s so great to have a bike to tool around town on!

A full stomach, and tired from the long day, even without windsurfing, I hit the hay, and off to dream of wind for tomorrow!

Caio!
