Tuesday March 14th
The day again started with rain. So unusual for Margarita! This normally shuts down the wind, but here’s hoping it will still be planeable for the afternoon.
The breakfast was light today, as I was still full from last night! And the loss of the many staff members that work here, with the new ownership, has altered the normal best breakfast in town to a notch or two lower than is expected from the past 9 years of history here. Here’s hoping the new owner will soon get the organization back to our beloved breakfast expectations.
After the morning rain, I figured it would likely be afternoon before the wind would fill in, and spent the morning at the Wind Guru Café for some internet and postings. Gotta love the environment and the awesome café con leche!
I got about half way thru the postings for the past few days, and saw that it seems windy, so off to the beach! I did the shift change with Tom and Kathy, and they were off to do some grocery shopping, while I did some photo posting to the TV at the center, along with some prints of yesterdays amazing tricks by Alexi and others.
I suited up for an afternoon photo shoot, only to find the wind shut off completely, and the riders were all coming in for bigger and bigger stuff. Might be a good day to do some work on the computer. So it was back to the café to finish the past days postings, and some email. I had to have the usual tasty sandwich there, with some chips and a coffee to boot. A good supper! I even filled up on only half a sandwich, typical after a couple weeks of activity here, the body gets more efficient, and needs less energy input.
I finally finished the postings, and headed back to the room. Since I was full from an early supper, I decided to go easy tonight, and just do some TTS work at the room, vs. going out for dinner. Raining on the way home, and lotsa clouds, hoping they go away by Wednesday! I’m sure I’ll be hurting to catch a ride by then!
Actually the body has been complaining, at least the knee has, so a night without usage might be just what I need. Got the heat pad on it now, feels good! Hope to reduce the need for the vitamin ‘A’ (Advil)!
So that’s all for now.. Sorry no photos today, so no link. I’ll try again on Wednesday.
Hasta mańana.
