Sunday March 12th
Another day started with some drizzle. Very unusual for Margi! This is the wettest I’ve seen in 10 years of visits. Ahh well, it’s still paradise, and the life is good!
After a breakfast of fruit and the usual ham and cheese on toast, it was time to get down to the Wind Guru café for some internet, and postings.
The computer session was short, and I talked to Mary Luz about another BBQ tonight. The plan was for kabobs and the usual spread of salad, along with all the rum and coke or beer you can drink. I was in for that! Such fun with all the friends! I signed up, and was off to gather some more folks together for some dinner tonight.
I got to the center to find it to be 6’s or 7’s again, just enough to plane, and enough to get out for some photos. I stood out for an hour or so, and captured some nice shots, before going in for some of my own rides. (See the pics here.) The afternoon wind was not cooperating, and I just ended up socializing on the beach and rounding up some friends for the BBQ tonight.
We gathered on the terrace for some of the best food in town! Very tasty chicken, beef, and kabobs! I even had a full plate of salad before going to the carnes! Superb! The rum and beer was also flowing freely, and we imbibed our full share! The music was again kickin, and we soon had to get out and dance up a storm to burn it all off! What a great night again! (See the fun here!) Another great Vela party night!
We all soon had enough, and made for bed, and rest for the next fun day ahead!
Hasta..
