Thursday March 9th
Another quiet morning at Casa Rita, the wind seems a bit lighter than normal. We even had a light sprinkle of mist for breakfast. After some superb huevos rancheros w/ hot sauce, fresh fruit, toast, and a sticky bun it was time to get ready for the playa!
The wind was not cooperating today. It was a light wind practice day for tacks and tricks. Some needed a well deserved rest, and took advantage of the beach chairs and relaxed the day away. I did some computing and a little work too. But it sure was nice to use Tom and Kathy’s office, and then back to the Wind Guru café for my café-con-leche! Best cup-o-joe in town!
Since I had not taken any photos of windsurfing for the day, I decided to post some of the Vela Party we had on Friday. (See the photos here.) Quite the fun time! See Friday the 10th for more details.
The evening soon crept up on me, and I stopped the afternoon computing, and went down to check the happy hour, and met up with Lorenzo and Kathy, just heading up for supper prep. I joined them after a visit w/ Jerry at the bar, and even though it was Pasta Night, he promised the full menu was available, and we made plans for a dinner at the Terrace.
The food was phenomenal! I got a huge chicken breast, and some very tasty mustard and hot sauce! The Thai that Lorenzo and Kathy had was also amazing! Our tongues were dancing the whole meal from the excellent sabor! A very good meal, and it was off to bed.
Mannana!
Ciao!
