Wednesday March 8th

Another beautiful day in paradise!  Clear sky today, and it looks like it may be windy for today!

Breakfast of hard boiled eggs, plenty of fruit, and the coffee really hits the spot with the chocolate!  Plenty of stories to share over the feasting with the many friends around the table.

The wind was not as strong as usual after breakfast, and I made plans for some internet café fun, before making way to the Vela Office.  The equipment was being worked on, so I bypassed the café, and went straight to the beach.  The big stuff was out today, and I met up with Tom and Kathy at the center, chatted some, had some computer play together.  I just can’t say enough good things about those two!  So kind of them to accommodate me in their office!  Thanks you two!

Well, it was time to get out and snap some action!  Even with the bigger sails and boards, the fun was flowing freely!  Plenty of willing subjects to choose from, and the tricks were flying as I stood in the shallows snapping the fun!  (See the photos here.)

Although it was lighter than normal, I had such fun yesterday, I just had to go out and sail!  I grabbed the 8.0M and a 122lt for some awesome planning speed runs!  The water was nice and flat on the inside, and the ramps were nice and smooth on the outside!  I even got the big board and sail off the water for some airtime!  Always makes me a happy camper!  After an hour or two, it was almost five, and I finally came in for the supper prep.

The happy hour was spent, toes in the sand, and cool Kaparinas in the hands!  Lorenzo and his friend Kathy shared the fun with me and several others, as the sun went down, all sharing stories and relating the fun of the day!  Nice finish to an afternoon session!

As we made our way up the hill back to Casa Rita, we stopped at Mobu, and ordered up 3 tropico Latina pizzas, then off to shower and back down for feasting!  Very tasty food, and we were joined by Mary and others for a full table of fun sailors!

Soon we were full and tired, ready for bed.  More Tomorrow!

Ciao!
