Monday March 6th

Another great breakfast today! Love my eggs! And the habenero sauce just hits the spot! Plenty of socializing, as we made the plans for the day.

The wind was back today, and the folks were out on 4’s and 5’s when I got down to the center! Looking good for the photo session! I worked some in the office, before it was time to capture some sailors. I had a fun photo session, as the clients were willingly performing for the cam! Plenty of cool action, and Alexi was out doing the magic he does on a board. Very amazing stuff! (See Photos here.)

After the memory got full, it was now my turn! I grabbed an 84lt board, and a 5.7M sail, small stuff for a 220lb sailor! I had a great session, jumps a plenty! Fun stuff, and the knee seems fully functional! Gotta like that! Hate to have an injury this early in the stay, but it seems to be very minor, must just be getting old!

I returned to shore, and cleaned up, before a session of hacky with the guys. Nice to stretch out the ligaments! Another fun hour or so of kicking la pelota around, before a shower and prep for Thai night tonight at the beach hotel!

It was the typical Thai night, tons of food, all the rum and beer you could drink, and so many fun stories shared around the table! Mike and I managed to drink practically a whole bottle of rum between us! It was a true ‘stumblina’ walk up the hill that night! Musta had fun, judging by the headache I have right now! Nothing that can’t be taken care of with some windsurfing to burn off the excess!

Well, I’m in the new El Yaque Club internet café, and I should get my butt over to the office. The connection here is awesome, very fast to upload, and great prices too! Love to have a café con leche as I work on the laptop. And the sandwiches here are soooo good! Fastest food in town!

OK, back to the beach.
