Friday March 3^rd

The day started nice and windy! Another great breakfast, and some techno-play, before it was time to head down to the beach.

The folks were out on the water with 5’s and I headed out for a photo session. Plenty of willing subjects, and I caught plenty of fun shots. (See the photo gallery.)

The wind was not as strong as the past days, and I decided to make a trip into town for a WIFI card for my computer, some more blank CD’s, and a can of air for the camera.

I took a taxi to Porlamar, and the Sanbil Mall! Fun afternoon of shopping, and I found most everything I wanted! (Except the can of air.) So I stopped at McDonalds for a burger and fries to celebrate. Tasty stuff, just love the fries! Tastes the same as back home!

After Sanbil, I made my way to the other mall, Sigo. Here I looked for the can of air to no avail, and finally just hit the grocery store for some sandwich meat and fixins. Fun to shop with the crowd on a Friday eve! Plenty of folks, and some long checkout lines! I also got lotsa practice with my Spanish! It was a great experience!

I got home rather late, (8pm) and played with the WiFi card for awhile. Couldn’t get connection in the room, and then simply made a sandwich, before doing some computing, and finally bed. Gotta save some fun for tomorrow!
