Thursday March 2nd

Another beautiful day in paradise!  Sun shining, clear skies and the wind is already blowing at 8am!  Eggs today for breakfast, and I don’t need to explain my love for tasty huevos!  A great feast while looking over the terrace!  Plenty of chat with the new folks arriving from Canada, and old friends Russ and Jen, along with a fellow MN sailor Anne.  We enjoyed the morning and soon made plans for the beach.

I prepped for the beach, got the camera ready, and headed down to la playa.  The wind was cooperating and the clients were sailing on 4’s and 5’s!  I suited up and had a great photo session, with plenty of subjects showing off their skills!  Some great shots, and  a bunch of fun on the water.  (See the photo gallery.)

After the photo session, I got a 93 lt board and a 5.7 m sail, and had a brilliant time out on the water!  The windsurfing legs are back, and I was jumpin like a freak!  Just love that airtime!  I even completed all my jibes!  What a great time!  And so many others were rippin it up too!  A great day!

Another fun happy hour, and plenty of fun chat with friends, before it was time to get ready for supper.  I stopped at the internet café, and finally connected to my server for email and uploads to the site.  This works awesome!  It only took about a half-hour to upload all 49 pics of March 1st!  Gotta love the hi-speed connection!  And a great price too!

Finally I made the trip up the hill, and back to Casa Rita for a shower.  I was super hungry, not having lunch, and found the fastest food in town, the new sub shop in Tito’s and Mary Luz’s!  So nice to get food 3 min’s after the order!  And such tasty sandwiches there!!  I had some tasty Café-con-leche as well!  They do a great job!  Fully content, I went home stuffed and sleepy, ready for bed.

I did some computer play, and a hammock ride to finish the day.  Ready to do it all again tomorrow!

See ya..
