Friday April 8

The day begins again, with birdsong, swishing palms, lazy birds circling the sky, and the wonderful warm environment of this desert isle.  Such a nice time to spend each morning, lazily swaying in the hammock, drifting in and out of sleep!  Highly recommended!

We ventured down to the terrace for some fuel for the day, and some visiting with the other friends and fellow residents of Casa Rita.  Carmen brought out some huevos revultos for us to feast upon, and we thanked her for the continuing supply of egg protein!   I am so spoiled here, special breakfast each morning, I will have a hard time adjusting to home when I return!

It was again another last day for recent German friends Alex and Michael, and we all made plans to seize the day!  I managed to get out for some more photos of them and all within the 40 foot range of my 2X zoom.  The wind was a nice steady 4 or 5M sail size, and I had plenty of planning sailors to choose from!  Love my hobby of photography!  Seem to have solved the fogging issues, by leaving the camera in the desiccant overnight, needs extra drying time, now that the packs are getting filled with moisture.  You may view the photo gallery here.

The wind was picking up, as usual, as I made my way in for some equipment of my own to ride.  Connie had been on the 5.2M 84lt, but then switched to the 4.7M and the same board, during the photo shoot.  I had my eye on the 5.0M and the 84lt by the time I made way to the water.  Connie joined me with a 3.7M and the 77lt, and we rode the afternoon away!

Connie had an appointment for a massage at 5pm, and I at 6, so she came off the water around 4 to make ready, while I rode until almost 5.  So much power in the sail, I could have taken a 4.7M!  Some really fun rides again, tons of jumps, and even a couple beach jibes in front of the crowd!  Just love to make a nice jibe where others can witness it!  It’s not a true jibe unless someone sees it!  The jumps were some of the ‘scream at the top of the lungs’ air rides you just can’t help but yell about!  Totally digging it!

The massage table sounded really good after a 2 hour over-power session!  I got cleaned up and made ready for some lactic acid removal!  I met the relaxed Connie on the way out, and we discussed the dinner plans with Wicho and Roxy for the night, before I had my turn with MaryBell.  She is so awesome!  I always feel like a new person after the session!

Once done, I returned to the room and we got ready for dinner at Mobu again.  Wicho and Roxy were great company, and we feasted on pizza and pasta!  The habenjero sauce was in full use, and we were all soon sweating from the spice!  Another perfect meal at Mobu, and some leftovers for lunch tomorrow!

Full and tired, we each returned home to bed.  More fun mannana!
