Well, the wind knows I’m leaving, and won’t come out to play any more!  Today was very calm, about 8-12 knots, and lots of folks made the best of it and worked on various tacks and such.  I opted for some beach chair riding, and a little handyman work on the side, playing with electricity at Tom’s condo.  A pleasant day, even without sailing!

For the afternoon, I joined up with Alex, Bernie, Douglas and Wicho for some most excellent hacky!  We were joined by a few others, and we had a nice long 1-2hr session!  I was soaked in sweat, and it feels good!

The happy hour was at Da Rocco for some pizza with my departing friends Mark and Nicole, always sad to see new friends go home, but we had a nice evening chatting and sipping coffee. (Mark, we found your harness!!  I will bring it back to the states, ship it to you when I get home.)

On my way home the sunset begged to be photographed!  Unbelievable lighting!  Check it out!

After the walk home to Casa Rita, I made plans for some supper with the Vela crowd, at Gaby’s.  The Salsa Band Klua, was gonna play tonight there, and it promised to be a fun time!

The Mexican food I had was fantastic again, and several others enjoyed their meals as well.  We then made for the Voodoo Lounge, and the Salsa, meringue!  I made a friend in the local love dog with the leftovers!

The folks, both local and visitors, had a fantastic time dancing the night away!  Plenty of entertainment for all!

I made the walk home after another fun night in El Yaque, and camera in hand snapped a couple final photos for the day, before going off to sleep.  Sorry to say, only one day left!
