Well, another day in paradise. The wind was lighter today at breakfast, and you can see Coche, not a good sign for afternoon wind. Might have to rig big today.
The breakfast was fresh and delicious, and I nearly had the terrace to myself for the after 9 time frame. It’s so peaceful, a few birds calling back and forth, the light breeze gently lofting the palm fronds. From what I hear, the spring weather is well on its way back home as well. It’s always nice to come home to somewhat warmer weather than what I left!
At the beach, the winds were shy, and this made a great session or two for the beginners! Plenty of trade-wind for some good solid direction, allowing the folks to make there way around. Plenty of fast tack, sub-planing jibes for those so inclined to play.
I decided the frozen lakes at home will make me wait for some rides once I return, and just had to get out on the water, wind snob or not! It was actually quite nice to just do some fast planning! I took a 6.9m with a 280 power glide, and ripped back and forth. I even managed a few small leaps into the air! Hard to get the big board off the water, but it was just like typical conditions at home, and jumping the big stuff is my bag! A great session, big sail or not!
After the sailing session, I joined the Vela gang for an hour or so of hacky. Again a good sweat session, giving the heart a good workout. Feeling good!
Since the winds were light, and I was lazy, I missed out on the opportunity to take any fresh media. Sorry folks! I will try again tomorrow.
The happy
hour was quite, as most were getting ready for the night out. We chatted around the beach chairs, and I had
again made plans for a guys night out, with Tom and Joseph.
We drove into Porlamar

The evening
was another blast! This time the deposit
Tom and I had made last Wednesday was withdrawn, with interest! I got all my losses back, and won enough to
pay for both nights! Tom did well also,
and we met up with Mike at the casino for some chatting and fun. A great time on the town of
