Awoke to some lighter wind this morning, not too much palm leave rustling. The breakfast was superb again, and I slowly made my way to the beach. The last day for some, and I wanted some more photos, before they left. I got out with the Canon, and shot to my hearts content! Again, plenty to choose from!
With photos complete, it was time to catch a ride for myself. As I made ready, I saw the wind would be only enough for a 6.4 or 5.9 for me, and I snobbed out, opting for some hacky and conversation, hoping the wild wind would come back. It was a rideable day, just not the small stuff. I’m sure I’ll be wishing I took advantage of every possible day, when I’m home and there is no wind at all to ride! Yet here, on my fifth week, I’m so spoiled from the clockwork winds, I did not go.
Happy hour was fun, as we gathered the usual 8-12 people around for the late afternoon water show! Good friends, drink, and visuals! Plans were made to join the Vela table for supper at Fuerza 6, and we met up there for some tasty chicken and such. Another happy table of surfers!
There is a
band at Gaby’s Voodoo Lounge tonight, and we made plans to attend, I returned
to the room to do some web stuff, and then get ready, but fell asleep! Awoke at
