Groundhog day the movie, the day just keeps repeating, over and over, and I have another week or so to get it right! Gotta love it! Again, breakfast was supreme, as the eggs made their showing at the buffet again! Stuffed and content, I sipped my coffee, watched the birds and palms playing in the light morning breeze. Hazy out to Coche today, gonna blow!
Another hammock ride swaying with the leaves, sating into a azure blue clear sky, dotted with a few local birds soaring on the already steady breeze. Best way to start any day!
I arrived to the center, and was already in photographer mode, ready to catch some more pixels! I had plenty of subject matter to choose from, and with a new on the water defogging procedure, I managed a lot of good shots, just had to edit for size, and not poor quality. Here’s the 40 I think are the best:
I was ready, and it was my turn to shread! I grabbed a 255 style and the 5.7M, fully raging for an hour and a half, then I was tired, and near closing, so it was back in for a shower and get ready for happy hour.
The phone rang, and it was Tom and Kathy, asking for my company to Caney de Jimmy for some tasty chicken! I love that stuff, and was all over the offer! We had a fun ride over the chicken shack, and got our favorite seats, for a full on chicken feast! Very fun conversation and cold beer to accompany the huge half-chickens we each had! I rolled away from the table fully stuffed, for about 2-3$ each! What a bargain!
We drove back to El Yaque, and parked the car for the walk downtown to Café Ipanema for Hawaiian night! It stared slow, lots of chillin in the hammocks and beanbag chairs, before the place filled up, and the ‘Pin the body part on the model’ games began! Some real fun watching the blindfolded patrons get spun about, and the girls with their paper male body part, and the guys with theirs, fumbling about, searching for the proper spot to stick it! Good fun! I even managed to get the closest on my attempt, and won a free drink! Good times!
We danced some and chilled some more, before returning to our beds, ready for tomorrow!
