Rolled out of bed to another beautiful sunny morning in Margarita!  I devoured the eggs and ham for breakfast, and chatted with some folks at the tables.  The wind was lighter this morning again, but promised some more wind for later.

I was a bit tired, and rode the hammock for the morning session.  The staff was trimming some of the palms, and Del Valle saw me lounging, and shouted up to me on the terrace, and asked if I like coconuts.  I said sure, but no need.  I heard a knock on my door, and when I opened it, there was Del Valle and two more girls, with a plate of one of the largest freshest coconuts, cracked open, de-husked, and put on a plate, ready to eat!  They all had red hibiscus flowers in their hair, and all around the plate.  They even sang a short song, and did a short dance as they handed me the plate!  Wow! I really feel like a King! Very fresh and delicious! Just had to snap a photo:

I was tired from yesterdays fun, and remained in the hammock ‘till almost noon!  Feels good to rest!  But after awhile, I decided to finish up the past couple days pages, and started computing.  I moved down to the Vela office, and finished up the pages there.  Very nice to hear the action of the folks selecting the boards and sails in the background.

I was lost in computer land, and before I knew it, it was 4pm!  I came out to find the peak wind had just finished, and I missed it!  This was perfectly fine, as I was still recovering from the previous day rippin session.  I joined in for some hacky-sack to keep the body from atrophy.  This was perfect to loosen the joints, and felt good!

I joined in for a beer at happy hour, but wanted to unload the laptop to my room, so left early to walk up to Casa Rita.  An excellent hammock session followed, with the sunset off the terrace, slowly sinking behind the western island mountains, just beautiful!

Tonight was Mexican night at Gaby’s, and the Vela table was some 20-30 people deep.  We feasted on some darn tasty tacos, burritos, rice and beans, along with the margaritas, beer, Cuba Libres, cokes, and water.  Near the end of the meal the Mariachi’s showed up to put on a show of classic Mexican music!  Great singing and I even did a bit of dancing with Simona!  That girl can dance!  We all had a great time, and finally broke up to return home.  A couple of us stayed, and played a couple rounds of pool, and talked with Miguel for an hour or so.  Good friends, good conversation, good music, all under the tiki roof of Gaby’s Voodoo lounge!  Another perfecto noche!

As I was computer geek today, I only managed the two pics, I plan on some more manana.  Ciao!
