Nice strong breeze this morning, and the air over the water to Coche is a bit foggy, can’t see the mainland at all, and coche is barely visible, this means wind!
After the excellent breakfast, we headed down to the playa for another day of sun and fun! The familiar walk down past the gardens and pool of Atti, the slow meandering trail down alongside Casa Viento’s beautiful landscaping and architecture, past the cacti and scrub brush, down the road to the beach. So peaceful just strolling with the warm desert wind feeling your face, and the sky sooo blue and clear….Ahhhhhhh…
The beach is already teeming with fun seekers playing in the water and sand, and after some bs’in at the center and such, it was time for us to capture some media of the beautiful scene. Tom was armed with video cam ready to set up on the beach, but this is a sure sign for all to try and hide! Hate to blow the jybe on tape! To trick the wind and the sailors, we staged it by sending me out as bait for the folks to look at, and show off for, while Tommy snaps the movies! I was armed with the waterproof Cannon, and we had a great media session!
The wind was howlin’ for most of the session, and Connie was caught in action on her 4.7 and the Style 250cm, along with a change down to the 8’2” Maui Project, for two and a half solid hours. Some nice moves on the agua. I came out for the afternoon shreadfest on the 80 lt 8’4” Maui Project, WOW is that thing smooth! I just love the totally planning jump landings with it! It’s like a dolphin the way it darts in and out of the water! Soo SWEET! Just digging it for the entire afternoon!
The plan
was for video hour at
The show was awesome as usual; the freeze frame to see, make the jibe or not? The live action commentary. Just a fun time during the happy hour! Tom and Kathy even sprung for some raffle gifts, and the lucky few won the drawing, and gained the prizes of various surf goods! Great time was had by all, as shown in the smiling evidence!
After a stuffing of that scale, we were all too tired and full to do anything more, and simply hit the sack. What a great day!
