Awake around 6:30am, and can hear a breeze in the palms already!  The birds were singing again, and this was mixed with the sound of the Palm trunks squeaking, and the palm leaves gently billowing about, makings for a very tranquil awakening.  The ladies were firing up the blenders for some break-feast juices, and the sleepy Casa Rita was waking up for another day of sail fun!

Breakfast, Perfect.  What more can I say?  I really appreciate the royal treatment!  After a ride in the hammock, and some re-engineering of the helmet cam shutter release, it’s time for the beach.

Wind was starting out light, but I was ready for some helmet cam, and the lighter wind makes it easier to run the whole show.  I took a 272cm Wizard, 125lts, and a 6.9m sail, for some extra power.  Connie was out with a 268cm Wizard, and the 5.9m sail, and I chased her around for awhile, and managed some video shots of her, along with a couple other folks!  Very interesting looks from fellow sailors as I sail around with the camera on my head!

I shot some 28 video clips, but the helmet slides around a bit, and some of the shots are just sky, or sail.  Have to strap it down a bit tighter, or adjust before recording.  Anyway, here’s the result:

VIDEO CLIPS:

Each clip is anywhere from 9 to 11 seconds in length, the first three are chasing shots, and the last is a small jump.  I did end up about 1.5m overpowered by the end of the session, and the jumps were HUGE!  I thought I captured one of the biggest jumps I’ve done on video, but the battery was already dead!  Darn!  Guess I’ll just have to do it again!

The afternoon ride, sans cam, was also stellar!  Connie went down to a 250cm and a 4.7m, while I just couldn’t stop with the big stuff!  We both sailed hard, and totally toasted ourselves with all the riding!  Man!  That’s FUN!

I finally came in and did some hacky-sack with the guys at Vela, and worked up a sweat.  Feels good to move around and loosen up some of the bad juice out of the system!  Played ‘till near closing, and then joined Connie for the happy hour extreme sports show!  Sweet having beach chair sized, front row seats for the duration!  Another excellent session of tricks, and jumps as we sat and sipped our libations!

We chose Atti restaurant for supper, and were completely satisfied again with our steaks and fries!  Gotta love the consistency of the food!  So stuffed I could hardly put down the apertivo, but managed anyway!

Had to take a stroll around town, and work in the meal.  We met our stray dog friend, and fed her the leftovers from supper.  Of course she followed us part way home, could still smell the steak sauce on us!  She ambled back to her stretch of the hood, as we strolled off to Casa Rita and bed.  Breezy tonight, gonna blow tomorrow!
