Awoke to some light rain in the morning, this usually means no wind for a couple days, but this year the weather is not following a normal dry season pattern, and the wind has been kind enough to still crank for the afternoons! Connie proceeded breakfast, with a run on the desert path to the lagoon and back, while I did some computer play. We did the breakfast on the terrace, before making ready for the beach.
Connie was down to the beach early, around 11 or so, while I was still computing. I figured the rain might foul up the wind, so I stayed working for a few hours. I came down for the afternoon, to see folks on 5.9m and 120lt boards, a bit light for me, so I opted for some hacky-sack instead.
Connie had fun on the 125lt 272cm with a 5.9, and practiced her moves of tacks and such, I had another great aerobics session with the Vela guys. Total sweat for an hour or so!
After the exercise fun, we joined Jim and Yevs for happy hour. We were having the usual, when the future wrestler had to go a few rounds with both Jim and Yves, with him ending in the sand each time! He was having a blast fighting with the American, and Swiss tag team! The Vela guys stopped by, and we had to guess which person was the parent of this future fighter! Another fun and happy, happy hour!
It was time for dinner, and the Impanema café sounded like the plan. We met up with Jim, Yves, Mike & Kathy, at the restaurant. Had a great time at dinner, and said our sad goodbyes, as this was the last night for Jim, Mike and Kathy. Que triste!
Tired and ready for bed, we made our way home to sleep. See you tomorrow!
