Up for breakfast, wind looks light enough to do some more work in the AM. Connie heads down to the beach and then comes back just after noon, to coax me away to relax on the sand. I took a couple more shots of the hotel, and the friendly staff:

After the photos, I snails pace my way to the beach, and arrive to find the wind is ratcheting it up, and it’s looking good!

Connie and I ride from 3 till closing, she on the 5.7m 262cm Wizard, and me on the 6.4m w/272 Wizard! I found Ace on the water again, and he, Connie, and I had another excellent session chasing each other around on the playground of waves and chop! Such a blast racing with each other!

The session came to a close, and I hadn’t taken any media yet! The ‘after 5’ crowd, came on to the water, and the kite restrictions for the main beach are lifted to allow the free for all show of tricks, jumps, and general style moves! After a great happy hour with friends, we made plans for Thai night, the semi-weekly feast of excellent salad, chicken, beef, and shrimp! The free rum and coke was flowing, and the food was again excellent as always! Plenty of fun dinner discussion, and a great time was had by all! Some shots of the folks at the Vela table:

A happy group of contented surfers, we all called it a night and went home to snooze, more tomorrow!
