Woke to good sounding wind in the palms outside our room, time to get up for some breakfast!  Eggs today!  My personal favorite!  I brought my habanero sauce with again this year, soo tasty on some scrambled eggs, ham, onion, tomatoes combo!

Decided on some camera play for the day, and got the helmet cam ready.  I have a new squeeze bulb, shutter release, mounted to my waterproof case.  This will hopefully allow a little better control of what and when I take for pics/video.

I started with some photos standing out in the water in front of Vela, w/out the helmet cam.  This is most fun, as the crowd avoids you at first, then the tricks started popping off here and there in front of me!  I was still fooling with the camera, and haven’t got it setup for rapid fire sequence shots, so I missed a bunch of ‘em!  I did manage a few shots, and some not so bad.

The afternoon rolled around and the wind ‘kicked it up a notch’ for some shortboard time!  I setup the helmet cam, and remote squeeze bulb, only to lose the bulb on the first run, twice!  I finally lost it to the sea, and brought the rest back in.  Good thing I brought two spares!  I’ll re-engineer, and try again later.  No helmet cam yet.  Sorry.

I took the 272 JP 115L out for an afternoon ride, the wind was 5.9 for me 4.7 for the majority.  I hit the waves and found the ride was just perfect!  Plenty of ramps, sweet swell rides, and a few dry jibes to boot!  Connie did even better with the 5.2M and the 264, 115L in the AM, and the afternoon was a Maui Project 76Lt, 255cm with a 4.7m!  What a great session!  Totally tired out the bodies!  Feels great!

We made the change to evening mode, and shuffled on down to Mobu Pizzeria, for a couple Latino Tropical pizza’s, One for the restaurant, one to take home.  We make quick work of it, and washed it down with some cold Polar beer!  Sitting in the evening breeze, under the cabana, with good food and drink, after a day of full on windsurfing; it doesn’t get much better than this!!

We took our 2nd pizza to go, and climbed the hill to home.  Another fantastic day in paradise!
